Classified Ad Information and Rates
The MMA publishes classified ads in The Beacon and this Web site from units of government, public agencies, and individuals.
Classified advertising categories are:
• Employment
• Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
• Services
Only one job opening or request for proposals can be listed per ad. The MMA cannot assume responsibility for information or claims made in any advertisement.
Ad rates
Classified ad rates include publication in The Beacon and on the MMA’s Web site, though a discount is available for those who request placement of an ad only in The Beacon or on the Web.Member rates
• $95 for first 100 words; $45 for each additional block of up to 50 words
• Rate for one format only (print or Web site): $70 for first 100 words, $35 for each additional block of up to 50 words
Nonmember rates
• $145 for first 100 words; $70 for each additional block of up to 50 words
• Rate for one format only (print or Web site): $105 for first 100 words, $55 for each additional block of up to 50 words
Beacon deadlines and publication dates, 2012
The Beacon is published on the first business day of each month, except in the summer, when a combined July/August issue is printed in mid-July.
